Last night Umphreys McGee performed at Albany, NYs The Egg . During its first set, the Chicago-based band invited out a number of Albany-area residents. First, Benjamin A. Odom, of the legendary Soul Stirrers, emerged for a first time cover of Marvin Gayes What’s Going On. Immediately after moe. drummer Vinnie Amico appeared on both a ‘Jimmy Stewart’ segment and Pink Floyds Wish You Were Here, which closed the groups first set. Umphreys McGee will perform at New Haven, CTs Toads Place tomorrow.
