As a result of moe. guitarist Al Schniers tendonitis, the band has announced that it will cancel its late October North Carolina shows. The band had been scheduled to appear in Raleigh on October 26 and in Asheville on October 27 and 28. The band reports, Al has taken the advice of several doctors and has temporarily stopped playing guitar due to severe tendonitis in his right hand. Although he continues to sing while on the road, the pain of his injury is ever-present, and after much discussion and thought, we have decided that Al needs to take a month off after the Baltimore, MD show to fully rest his hand and to pursue physical therapy if the doctors deem it necessary. Last night at The Town Ballroom in Buffalo, Al and the Transamericans/freebeerandchicken keyboardist Kirk Juhas sat in for the entire show, the first of three at the venue.
