Karl Denson has spent much of the fall on the road with the Karl Denson Trio. However, in mid-November he will take a weekend away from the KD3 to deliver his sax in a new context. On November 16-18 Denson will appear with the New Orleans-based guitarist Benny Dominach and his Benny D Band. Dominach, who has performed with Sublime Lens and other groups in his home city, is sometimes compared to Bill Frisell. Denson will join the Benny D Band on November 16 at Moe’s Alley in Santa Cruz followed by two shows at San Franciscos Boom Boom Room on November 17 and 18.
