Trey Anastasio will bring a new horn section, composed of old friends Russell Remington, Peter Apfelbaum and trombone player Jeff Cressman, out for the California leg of his fall tour. The former Phish guitarist has also confirmed that the abovementioned trio, as well as TAB-alumni Dave ‘The Truth’ Grippo and Cyro Baptista, will join his band throughout its New Years run. After performing at Atlantic Citys House on Blues on New Years Eve, Anastasio will begin writing for his next studio project. The Trey Anastasio Band will kick off a west coast run December 6 at Californias Eureka Municipal Auditorium.
