With the Flecktones currently off until early 2007, Jeff Coffin is picking up some dates with his Mu’tet. The current incarnation of the band offers a particularly tantalizing line-up with Coffin joined by fellow Flecktone Futureman as well as Kofi Burbridge and Felix Pastorius. On Wednesday the group is in Lexington, KY at the Dame, with three consecutive southeast shows to follow. On Thursday the Mu’tet will perform in Blowing Rock, NC at Canyons followed by shows in Charlotte (December 15, Neighborhood Theatre) and Nashville (December 16, 3rd & Lindsley).
