This evening at the Webster Wine Bar Umphreys McGee drummer Kris Myers will perform with Sticky Lupree. Myers has joined Sticky Lupree on a few prior Mondays at the venue, producing music in a jazz tradition while still creating rock sound coupled with blues licks and a soul groove. Then on Thursday, also in Chicago, UMs Joel Cummins will perform with fellow keyboard player Brian Felix (The Make Believe, Drop Q, OM Trio) for an evening of solo and duo action. Additional guests are pledge for this performance, which will benefit Keys-4-Kids, a Chicago-based non-profit organization that supports local music education.
