The music of Jerry Garcia will be honored this August in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. The Grateful Garcia Gathering will feature a series of bands who will perform their own original music while also covering selections from the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band. Melvin Seals & JGB will close out the mainstage on both Friday August 3rd and Saturday August 4th. The penultimate set on both evenings will be delivered by former Garcia bandmate Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay with Kettle Joe’s Psychedelic Swamp Review. Both MoonAlice and Boris Garcia also will appear on both of these days, while the list of confirmed artists also includes: Waterband, Baghdad Scuba Review, Covert Operations and The Northwoods Band. The Grateful Garcia Gathering will take place from August 2-5 on the 60 acre Camp NCN Campground, with additional details and ticket info at the festival site.
