Tomorrow, Steel Train will open its tour towards SXSW with an O.A.R. support spot at Syracuse, NYs Landmark Theater. The groups upcoming tour marks its first extended run with its new lineup, featuring guitarist Daniel Silbert and drummer Jon Shiffman. Steel Trains upcoming tour also includes stops in Ames, IA (3/8), Norman, OK (3/10), Dallas (3/11), Austin (3/15, 3/17) and Forth Worth, TX (3/18). The bands March 11 performance finds the quintet at the North by Southwest Music Festival with Okkervil River and the Polyphonic Spree. Steel Train is currently working on its second full-length studio album.
