Marco Benevento will perform in several different settings at JazzFest this spring. On May 2 the keyboardist will perform with Garage a Benevento at Tipitina’s and on May 4 Benevento will join the ensemble at One Eyed Jack’s. On May 3 Benevento will also perform with George Porter and Johnny Vidacovich as part of their revolving trio show at the Maple Leaf. As for The Duo, Benevento will team with Joe Russo to help open the Green Apple Music Festival with an acoustic set at New Yorks Tonic on April 19. The paired performers will then fly to Florida for an electric set at Ft. Lauderdales Culture Room on April 21. The next morning Russos will jet back to New York to close Green Apple with his old band Fat Mama on April 22.
