No, this is not a belated April Fools Day story. On Saturday, March 31, American Idol champ Taylor Hicks performed with Widespread Panic at Cleveland, OHs Playhouse Square Center State Theater. Hicks, who clocked in time in a Widespread Panic coverband before scoring fame via American Idol, played harmonica with the jam-titans on Stop Breakin’ Down Blues before offering his own show at Clevelands House of Blues. This marks Hicks second appearance with the group in the past year and second appearance in the Latest in the past week. Widespread Panic will appear at Richmond, VAs Landmark Theater tonight .
