Grace Potter will play a pair of shows this weekend as part of the New York edition of the Green Apple Music & Arts Festival. The singer/songwriter appeared at the inaugural Green Apple Festival last spring and walked away with the New Groove Award at the 2006 edition of the Jammys. Potter and her band the Nocturnals will perform on Vanderbilt Avenue outside Grand Central Terminal at 4:30 PM tomorrow and play a show with the Wood Brothers later in the evening at Brooklyns Southpaw. On April 27, Potter will continue her spring tour at Scottsdale, AZs McDowell Mtn. Music Festival. Tomorrows Grand Central Earth Fair festivities will also feature The Paul Green School of Rock featuring Jon Anderson (12:00 PM), Gandalf Murphy (1:15 PM) and Ozomatli (5:45 PM).
