Widespread Panic has announced that next month it will return to Compass Point recording studio in the Bahamas to begin recording its follow-up to last years _ Earth to America_. Terry Manning, who produced that release, will once again work with the band. Panic will then return to the U.S. for a summer of touring, beginning with a stop at the Wakarusa Music Festival on June 9. Then, following a festival-closing performance at Bonnaroo, the band will begin its summer tour proper on June 22 at Red Rocks. Panic will tour through July 28, with multiple-night runs in most cities including three night stands at Red Rocks, the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles (June 28-30), Austins The Backyard (July 6-8) and the Chicago Theatre (July 13-15). In addition, the group will perform two nights at radio City Music Hall on July 20 and 21.
