Yonder Mountain String Band has confirmed some high-profile guests for its first headlining spot at Red Rocks on September 2. Perhaps most exciting, during Yonder Mountain String Bands set, Jon Fishman will join the group on drums for a handful of songs. Fishman really inspired me to play music, Yonder Mountains Ben Kaufmann says. Hes the reason I decided to play music for my life. To share the stage with him, especially at this historic show for us, is an honor and thrill for all of us in the band. In addition to Fishmans appearance, Yonder Mountain String Band has confirmed that Mexican guitarists Rodrigo y Gabriela and singer/songwriter Todd Snider will provide support duties. Yonder Mountain String Band will appear next at Wakarusa on June 8.
