Music Farmers: Sowing the Seeds of Americana is the recent documentary film that presents performances from Florida’s MagnoliaFest and Suwannee Springfest. A number of the artists who appear in that film are part of this years MagnoliaFest 2007, which will take place October 25-28 at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL. Col Bruce Hampton, The Duhks, Peter Rowan and Jim Lauderdale are among the artists in the film who are part of this year’s festival line-up. Other performers scheduled to appear are: Toots & The Maytals, the Emmitt Nershi Band, Railroad Earth, Donna the Buffalo, Uncle Earl, Toubab Krewe, The Lee Boys, Oteil & The Peacemakers and Blueground Undergrass. Early Bird tickets are now on sale, with details at the MagFest website.
