Jorma Kaukonen’s Fur Peace Ranch has announced its schedule of workshops for 2008 and a number of familiar names will be teaching classes. In addition to Kaukonen and Hot Tuna cohort Jack Casady, their associates Barry Mitterhoff and Michael Falzarano will offer courses as well. More than thirteen months in the future but also worthy of note is a September 19-22, 2008 session with Govt Mule/Allman Brothers band guitar hero Warren Haynes. Other instructors over the course of the coming year are Chris Smither, former Saturday Night Live band leader GE Smith and former Muddy Waters associate Bob Margolin. Zenbu Media President Steve Bernstein reported on his experience at the Peace Ranch in the June issue of Relix.
