Last night former New Groove of the Month the Avett Brothers kicked off an extensive tour at Chicagos House of Blues which will keep the group on the road through November. The trio will hit most markets across the country, before winding down with a gig at Sellersvile, PAs Sellersville Theater on November 19. Highlights include a free in-store appearance at Bosie, IDs The Record Exchange on August 30, a performance at Californias Joshua Tree Roots Music Festival on October 21 and a spot at Nashvilles Annual American Honors & Awards at the Ryman Auditorium on November 1. The Avett Brothers will then play a pair of holiday shows at Asheville, NCs The Orange Peel on December 28 and 29.
