On December 31 in Asheville, the Grey Eagle Music Hall will host the 4th Annual Mountain Music Family Circus. Music will begin at 8 p.m. on an evening that will draw together five bands. Larry Keel tops the bill and will perform both with Natural Bridge and also in the Keel Brothers with his older brother Gary and his wife Jenny. Jeff Sipe, aka Apt Q258 will appear with his Jeff Sipe Trio where he will be joined by Vince Ilagan on bass and Mike Seal on guitar. Steve ‘Big Daddy’ McMurry (Acoustic Syndicate) will deliver a solo set, while the Harwell Grice Band fills out the bill. Tickets are on sale now for $30 and anyone who attends is encouraged to bring a two can food donation for the Asheville Manna Food Bank.
