The Slips tour schedule has been unusually quietly as of late, while the groups members persue a myriad of side-projects. At least one member of the trio, however, will celebrate New Years Eve onstage. Bassist Marc Friedman will play a set of covers as The Prenupson December 31 with Meowskers at Petes Candy Store in Brooklyn. The night promises to be a lively affair, featuring your favorite classic, indie, and dance rock hits from the past 40 years…straight on into the next 40. Meanwhile, Friedman will play with the other members of the Slip and Nathan Moore as Surprise Me Mr. Davis at Santa Cruz, CAs Moe’s Alley this evening, while the Meowskers will take the stage at New Yorks Mercury Lounge on December 22.
