Sound Tribe Sector 9 longtime fans a special treat on December 30, the third night of the groups New Years residency at Atlantas Tabernacle. During its first set, STS9 performed its 1999 album, Interplanetary Escape Vehicle, in its entirety in front of its sold out crowd. The early STS9 release was recorded at the Zone between April 6-9, 1998, when the group was still known as Sector 9. Never ones to linger on the past, however, a night later the group rang in 2008 at the Tabernacle by debuting a new, currently untitled song at midnight, before busting into Lo Swaga. STS9 will perform next at Seattles The Showbox on January 17.
