Rising California stars ALO and Jackie Greene will play a benefit concert for the charitable organization Rock & Wrap It Up at New Yorks Highline Ballroom this Thursday. Though the show carries a hefty ticket price, proceeds from the event will go to a great cause. Rock and Wrap It Up helps feed the hungry through food recovery, collecting all edible leftover food backstage at shows and delivering it to local soup kitchens or shelters. The organization currently has a national database of over 41,000 shelters and places of need and, since its inception in 1990, has recovered over 25,000,000 pounds of food. ALO is then off until a performance on February 12 at Santa Barbara, CAs SOhO Restaurant and Music Club.
