Former Grateful Dead manager Rock Scully will offer up a number of stories in an audio book set for release next month. The 40th Anniversary Summer of Love Oral Archive is a fifty-five minute oral history that pledges to include ‘outrageous stories from the Love-Ins, the Acid-Tests, the Dead, Who, Stones, Beatles, Janis and Jimi.’ Previously available only an import, the CD which is subtitled Two Decades On The Bus With Garcia and The Grateful Dead also will include a 6 page booklet with a bonus two-side tray that features a Stanley Mouse illustration as well as unreleased photos. Back in 1996, Scully wrote Living with the Dead: Twenty Years on the Bus with Garcia and the Grateful Dead.
