Somewhat belatedly, we’d like to share news of a recent Trey Anastasio performance. Last Tuesday in Schuylerville, NY, Anastasio participated in a Road Recovery Master Class. Here he spoke with young people and brought out his acoustic guitar for a brief performance. The Road Recovery Foundation is a 501c non-profit organization founded in 1998 and ‘comprised of entertainment industry professionals whose lives have been touched by addiction and other adversities and now wish to make a positive impact on the lives of others.’ The organization explains that ‘Many of our young participants find themselves at a critical point in their life, facing an uncertain future. With programs that are based on establishing strong relationships and trust, ROAD RECOVERY provides young people with the guidance, confidence and skills to make positive and beneficial decisions in their life.’

In a potentially related matter, on Thursday, April 17 Road Recoverys 10th Anniversary Benefit Concert will take place at the Nokia Theatre, Times Square, NYC with details yet to be announced.
