Rising Athens, GA-bred trio The Whigs, who are profiled in the current issue of Relix, will spend most of March on the road with the Drive-By Truckers. After supporting My Morning Jacket and Yo La Tengo at the Austin Music Hall on March 13, The Whigs will open their tour with the Truckers on Mach 16 at Newport, KYs Sun Southgate House. From there, the new friends will travel throughout the East Coast and Canada, before wrapping things up at Asheville, NCs Orange Peel on March 29. Also, be sure to look for a My Page column written by Drive-By Truckers frontman Patterson Hood in the April/May issue of Relix.
