On April 28, Tipitina’s will host its annual Instruments A’ Comin benefit. The event purchases instruments for New Orleans school band programs and last year’s show provided 28 schools with 700 instruments. This year’s performance should do more of the same, as the show will be anchored by a number of notable groups. Performers include Little Feat, Galactic, The Radiators, Leo Nocentelli, Dumpstaphunk, Dragon Smoke and others. The night typically includes a silent auction and appearances by additional local musicians, with more information to be announced soon.
