Earlier this year Bill Kreutzmann, Mike Gordon and Scott Murawski performed a one-off show in Costa Rica. This past Thursday in Northampton, Kreutzmann and Murawski shared the stage once more but drew in bassist Oteil Burbridge for a performance at the Pearl Street Nightclub. Gordon was not a part of the band but given his relationships with all of the band members, he opted to attend and ultimately perform. The group delivered two sets that gravitated towards Grateful Dead material, including versions of ‘Franklin’s Tower,’ ‘The Other One’ and ‘Eyes Of The World.’ Gordon stepped up early in the second set, subbing for Burbridge on a version of ‘New Railroad Blues.’ The evening later concluded with both Burbridge and Gordon on bass for a take on ‘Lovelight.’
