The high definition film that captures the final two live performances by the String Cheese Incident will be touring west coast music venues over the coming month. _The String Cheese Incident – High Def from Red Rocks _ offers three hours of live footage drawn from SCI’s shows on August 11 and 12. In addition on March 21 at the Mystic Theatre in Petaluma, CA and on March 22 at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, CA the film will be followed by an acoustic set by Michael Kang, Chris Berry and a three piece African Drum ensemble that has been dubbed Jinji. These two shows will serve as benefits for Our Future Now, the non-profit organization co-founded by Kang which is ‘promoting ecological responsibility through greening initiative programs, high-profile awareness campaigns and community involvement opportunities.’ _The String Cheese Incident – High Def from Red Rocks _ also will make stop in Portland, OR (Bagdad Theatre, 3/14), Eugene, OR (WOW Hall, 3/15), Seattle, WA (Nectar Lounge, 3/16), Solano Beach, CA (Belly Up, 3/18), Los Angeles, CA (Club Fais Do-Do, 3/19), Crystal Bay, NV (Tahoe Biltmore Lodge & Casino, 3/28) and Santa Barbara, CA (SoHo, 4/3) with additional details at www.virtualvenuesnetwork.com.
