The Desert Rocks Festival will take place Moab, UT from May 22-25. The fourth annual event will step this up this year, boasting marquee performances from The Derek Trucks Band, Del the Funky Homosapien, Hot Buttered Rum, New Monsoon and a Bernie Worrell-bolstered version of the Eric McFadden Trio. Since ALO keyboardist/vocalist Zach Gill will spend most of 2008 touring the world with longtime friend Jack Johnson, the members of ALO will also perform at the festival in a number of unique configurations. On May 23, the members of ALO will play a special trio set at the festival, while the following night Tea Leaf Greens Trevor Garrod will perform with the group under the name TLO. As previously reported, ALO bassist Steve Adams will hit the road with Tea Leaf Green next month.
