After a slight administrative delay, taper tickets are now on sale for the 2008 Jammy Awards, which will take place at New Yorks Theater at Madison Square Garden on May 7. Taper tickets are required for anyone who wishes to record the show. ‘The bearer of a taper’s ticket is permitted to bring ONE audio recording device and ONE microphone stand/set of microphones into the venue. Microphones should be kept at a reasonable high so as not to obstruct the view of other audience members. No video devices are ever allowed.’ Four-time Jammy Award Winner and seven-time Grammy-nominated Warren Haynes is co-hosting the show with the 2006 Jammy Award Winner for New Groove of the Year, Grace Potter. As previously reported, Phish will take home the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2008 Jammys.
