With Jazz Fest approaching, a number of New Orleans venues have lined up late night shows following the day’s fairgrounds activities. The latest venue to confirm an intriguing night of music is Sugar Mill, which will present the Monsta Jam on May 1. The evening will feature performances by Page McConnell and Russell Batiste, Col. Bruce Hampton & The Quark Alliance, Outformation and the Jerry Joseph Electric Band featuring Eric McFadden. Given the fraternal nature of the players involved, one can except a good dose of collaboration throughout the night as well.
