Jiggle will take the stage this weekend for its first gig in a few years. The band, originally known as Jiggle The Handle was a staple on the jamband circuit from the mid-1990’s through 2001 until it eased up on its performance schedule. On Saturday the band will regroup for an afternoon set at the Strange-Creek Campout, with a lineup that features the final incarnation of Jiggle: guitarist Gary Backstrom, bassist Chris Q, keyboard player Paul Wolstencroft, drummer Greg Vasso and percussionist Michael Pujado. As the event’s name suggests, the Strange-Creek Campout will be anchored by Strangefolk and Max Creek, while other performers will include: Ryan Montbleau Band, The Bridge, Juggling Suns, The Breakfast, The Attic, Buzz Universe, Rev Tor and recent Jambands.com New Groove of the Month,The Brew. The 6th Annual Strange-Creek Campout will take place at Camp Kee-Wanee in Greenfield, MA.
