Bob Dylan will make a special appearance at Brooklyn, NYs Prospect Park Bandshell on August 12. The gig is part of the parks Celebrate Brooklyn concert series, which also boasts performances by Medeski, Martin & Wood, Cold War Kids, Elvis Perkins, Brazilian Girls, Sam Champion and numerous others. The show is believed to be Dylans first official Brooklyn show. As of press time, Dylans only other confirmed U.S. performance is an August 30 appearance at Snowmass, COs Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Festival, though he will likely add a few additional dates in the coming weeks. The Bard will perform at St. Petersburg, Russias The New Arena tomorrow.
