Bill Kreutzmann, Oteil Burbridge and Scott Murawski wrapped up their east coast tour on Saturday night in Burlington. As befits the band’s working name, which is ’3,’ Mike Gordon joined the group on 3 separate instruments over the course of the show. In addition, Gordon’s longtime Phish bandmate Page McConnell participated as well. McConnell added keys to much of the first set including versions of ‘Bertha,’ ‘The Other One’ and ‘Scarlet Begonias.’ Gordon appeared during the second set, relieving Burbridge of his bass during ‘Althea’ and ‘Yellow Moon,’ adding a second guitar to ‘Cruel World,’ and appearing on keys for a jam that led into ‘Sugaree.’ The next scheduled performance for Kreutzmann Burbridge and Murawski is at the Gathering of the Vibes on August 2.
