Keller Williams will tour this summer both as a solo act and also in his four-piece with Keith Moseley, Gibb Droll and Jeff Sipe. However, looking ahead to September it appears that he is drawing together a new collection of players for a festival gig. Keller Williams’ Freeky Bluegrass Band will perform at Brew-Glass 2008, which will take place on September 18-20. Williams and his group are slotted for the 18th, joining a festival bill that also includes Ricky Skaggs, Del McCoury Band, Larry Keel & Natural Bridge, Acoustic Syndicate, Davisson Brothers Band and Cornmeal. Given Williams’ relationship with the Kells, one can imagine that Larry and Jenny will be part of the Freeky Bluegrass Band. Brew-Glass 2008 will take place at Sunshine Daydream in Terra Alta, WV. Next up for Williams is a show this evening at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, GA, opening for moe.
