The first annual Rothbury festival is just a few days away and, while Umphreys McGee is not technically on the bill, members of the group will host one of the festivals official pre-parties. On Wednesday, Umphreys McGees Jake Cinninger, Joel Cummins and Kris Myers will play a show with Kick the Cats Chris Clemente as Kick the McGee. The gig will take place at Grand Rapids, MIs The Intersection and also feature Euforquestra and Goodnight Nurse, Myers collaboration with Brian Abraham. Tickets are normally $12.00, but there will be a $5.00 discount to customers who present a Rothbury Ticket at The Intersection box office. Rothbury will take place this coming weekend, featuring performances by Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, Trey Anastasio, Modest Mouse and Diplo, among others.
