This weekend the Yonder Mountain String Band will host its seventh annual Northwest String Summit in North Plains, OR. As the group gears up for this event, it also has announced its fall tour dates. Yonder will kick things off at the Austin City Limits festival on September 27 and then travel up to the Northeast and then out to the Midwest. YMSB will be augmented by drummer Jon Fishman for two of these shows, at New York’s Nokia Theater on October 10 and then the Electric Factory in Philadelphia on the 11th. A week later, the group’s annual Kinfolk Celebration will then take place at the Congress Theater in Chicago on the 18th.
