Lotus has confirmed that it will release its first studio effort in over two years. The previously-announced Hammerstrike Tour references the name of the new disc, which will hit in the fall. The tour opens on September 25 at Troy, NY’s Revolution Hall and will cross the country over the ensuing months. Highlights include a series of gigs around Thanksgiving (Wednesday, November 26 at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA, Friday, November 28 at Mr. Smalls Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA and Saturday November 29 at New York City’s Fillmore at Irving Plaza) as well as two nights at Boulders Fox Theatre on December 30 and 31. This weekend, the group will appear at the Trinumeral 8 Music & Arts Festival in Deerfields, NC.
