Widespread Panics John Bell will sing the National Anthem before the Atlanta Braves take on the San Francisco Giants at Atlantas Turner Field on August 18. As of press time, Bell is expected to belt out the anthem at 4:35 PM. The Midwest native has previously offered his unique version of the National Anthem before both the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago White Sox take the field. The group will return to the road next week for a performance at the first annual Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival. In other news, August 10 marked the sixth anniversary of Widespread Panic guitarist Michael Housers passing.
