Minnesota-based WookieFoot will celebrate its 10 Year Anniversary on Halloween in Minneapolis. The group, which often incorporates elements of performance art into its shows, will mark the occasion with the presentation of Nothing and the Monkey: Parts I & II. This theatrical production is said to be based on Taoist parables and will span the bands four CDs . The show will take on Friday the 31st at Club Epic (formerly The Quest).
In addition to its musical efforts, in 2006, the band established WookieFoot Charities, which has raised over $120,000 for international relief efforts and sustainable development projects, including a de-landmine program in Cambodia, sustainable agriculture in Laos, medicine for Darfur and the sponsorship of six orphan villages.
