As we’ve previously reported, tomorrow night, the Rex Foundation will celebrate its 25th Anniversary with an event dubbed Sweet Music Everywhere. The night will offer Peter Rowan in a number of settings, appearing in the Rowan Brothers, Crucial Reggae and the Peter Rowan Blue Grass Band. Other confirmed musicians include Panjea with Michael Kang, Jackie Greene, Ramblin Jack Elliott and the Brass Mafia. The show originally had been set to take place at the Warfield Theater but Sweet Music Everywhere has been moved to the Grand Ballroom of San Francisco’s Regency Center. Tickets are still available, and given Rex Foundation’s origins as the Grateful Dead’s official charity, it is certainly possible that a member of the group will appear as well.
