Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood will team up for
a late spring and early summer arena tour. The former Blind Faith bandmates reunited last February for a three-show run at New Yorks Madison Square Garden that mixed material from throughout the musicians careers. Clapton and Winwood were also featured on the cover of Relix last winter.
As of press time, Clapton and Winwood will kick off their tour at East Rutherford, NJs Izod Center on June 10. From there the tour will make stops in Philadelphia (6/12), Washington (6/13),Columbus, OH (6/15), Chicago (6/17), St. Paul, MN (6/18),
Omaha, NE (6/20), Denver (6/21), Dallas (6/23), Houston (6/24),Glendale, AZ (6/26), Las Vegas (6/27), Oakland, CA (6/29) and Los Angeles (6/30). A DVD of the paired performers Madison Square Garden shows is also in the works. Clapton also kicked off his winter tour last night in Osaka, Japan.
