Steel Train will enter a Los Angeles recording studio this Monday to begin work on
a new album with producer Steve McDonald (The Format, Be Your Own Pet).
The group spent most of 2008 touring in support of sophomore release
Trampoline, including appearances at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and on
Late Night with Conan O’Brien. The group, which has always crossed
genres, also made some mainstream waves thanks to spots with the likes of
O.A.R. and The Barenaked Ladies.
At present, the group plans to work in the studio through mid-April.
The group will also be blogging about the recording sessions on both their
MySpace and Twitter pages.
