Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer have announced that they will hit the road for six weeks of dates starting in mid-April. The UNWIGGED & UNPLUGGED shows will feature the trio performing in an all-acoustic format. This setting certainly suits their music from the film A Mighty Wind. In addition, however, the three will dip into their Spinal Tap catalog, without donning their full regalia. UNWIGGED & UNPLUGGED: An Evening with Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer opens on April 17 at Vancouver’s Center for the Performing Arts, heads East and eventually concludes at Milwaukee’s Riverside Theatre on May 31. Tickets for the entire tour will go on sale Friday, with the full tour itinerary available at Unwigged.com.
