With the Disco Biscuits having cancelled their weekend gigs at the Hollywood House of Blues due to a family emergency, Wagatail Presents has pulled together a number of area artists for what is billed as ‘Saturday Night Special.’ Steve Molitz and Josh Clark will lead the collective which will offer ‘a combination of original material (drawing from Particle, Tea Leaf Green, etc.), a diverse collection of covers, and plenty of improvised, high-energy dance music.’ Joining them will be bassist Tony Franklin (Jimmy Page, David Gilmour), drummer Tony Austin (Erykah Badu, Santana), percussionist Ben Baruch (Underground Orchestra), vocalist Adam Iscove (Allrise) and Jason Fladager (The Big Wu, God Johnson) on guitar. Former New Groove of the Month Big Organ Trio will open the night, with doors set to open on Saturday at 8PM.
