These evening at Tipitina’s, Bonerama will anchor Musicians Bringing Musicians Home V. The event will serve as a benefit for Sweet Home New Orleans, ‘a non-profit organization whose mission is to support the individuals and organizations that will perpetuate New Orleans unique musical and cultural traditions.’ Joining Bonerama at Tip’s will be numerous musicians, including Al ‘Carnival Time’ Johnson, Jon Langford, Jolie Holland, Paul Sanchez, Erin McKeown, Scott McCaughey, Vijay Iyer, Wayne Kramer, Laura Veirs, Saul Williams, Luke Reynolds and Mariam Adam. SHNO was established shortly after Katrina and thus far has ‘provided over $2.4 million in direct financial assistance to more than 2,300 members of the citys music community.’
