Although we had previously reported that this would take place, we dont want to let the week pass without confirmation that God Street Wine founding guitarists Lo Faber and Aaron Maxwell performed together this past Saturday at Mexicali Blues Cafn Teaneck, NJ. The pair had been invited out by Echofission and in between that bands first and second sets, Faber and Maxwell stepped out as a duo to deliver ‘Borderline,’ ‘Mile by Mile,’ and ‘Fortress of Solitude. The pair then appeared with Echofission as well, joining in on such God Street tunes as ‘Get on the Train,’ Waiting for The Tide,’ ‘Goodnight Gretchen,’ ‘Like a Feather,’ and ‘Nightingale.’ At present no additional Faber/Maxwell appearances have been confirmed, although by all accounts, the pair enjoyed themselves (and each other) considerably at the show.
