New York City’s first Jazz Forum shows took place at in a loft 50 Cooper Square in June 1979. On Monday, June 22, more than 20 players will take the stage at the Rose Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center to mark the thirtieth anniversary of the Forum. Numerous performers will participate in variety of combos, with the line-up set to include: George Coleman, Lou Donaldson, John Scofield, Joe Lovano, Donald Harrison, Barry Harris, Clark Terry, Ray Drummond and many others. The evening will offer five core groupings over two sets, with numerous guests participating as well.
