On Saturday September 12, New York City’s Carnegie Hall will host ‘An Evening with Trey Anastasio and the New York Philharmonic.’ This performance will mark the area premiere of ‘Time Turns Elastic.’ As with past such events, the night also will feature orchestrations of other Anastasio songs. Proceeds will benefit The Kristine Anastasio Manning Memorial Fund, which has been established in honor of Trey’s sister who passed away earlier this year. The fund will support a range of causes important to Kristy, such as the Seven Below Arts Initiative, the Carolina Friends School/Afghan Sister School Project in Durham and the Neuroendocrine Tumor Clinic at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 9AM EST via Carnegiehall.org.
