George Porter Jr., Robert Walter and Stanton Moore are among the New Orleans veterans slated to appear on the forthcoming solo album from Clap Your Hands Say Yeah leader Alec Ounsworth. The album was recorded in New Orleans with producer and Los Lobos member Steve Berlin, who also appears throughout the album. The New Orleans inspired record will be released on October 20 via Anti-. In addition, Ounsworth will release a second solo album this year under the name Flashy Python. The self-released project will include appearances by Dr. Dogs Scott McMicken and Toby Leaman, the Walkmen’s Matt Barrick and members of Man Man.
