Project 30-90 is an “environmentally conscious music festival” set to take place in New Orleans this coming Saturday, September 5. Project 30-90 will utilize solar and wind power, offer paperless tickets, carbon offsets and recycling with its goals to “rock your world and leave no carbon footprint behind.” Many of the artists of quite familiar to the readers of this site, with Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Ghostland Observatory, Jason Isbell & 400 Unit, MyNameIsJohnMichael, Benjy Davis Project, Charlie Mars and Generationals all slated to perform. The event’s name is drawn from the the latitude and longitude of New Orleans (30.2 degrees North latitude, 90.1 degrees East longitude).
