This past Monday Particle keyboardist Steve Molitz sat in with DJ Logic at Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Bowl. Logic hosts a weekly Monday Night Football residency at the club and Molitz played on a mini-keyboard in the DJ booth throughout the night. The collaboration was the first of many in the coming months. After jamming with recent Relix On the Verge subject Freekbass at the Church of Universal Love and Music, the three musicians are putting together a groove-based project that will likely tour in early 2010. The group is asking fans to submit some potential names for the band via DJ Logic and Freekbass’s Twitter pages. The person whose name is chosen will win a lifetime spot on the guest list to this “yet to be named band’s” shows.

In addition, Molitz and Logic will perform two duo sets in the coming weeks. The two musicians will appear at Baltimore, MD’s Sonar on October 29 as part of the ChangeUp Fest. After focusing on their individual projects the two musicians will come together for a gig at Philadelphia’s World Café on November 22.
